Leslie Furst, Senior Vice President, Finance
Leslie Furst serves as Vice President of Finance at KETTLER. An experienced real estate finance professional, Ms. Furst supervises acquisition, construction and permanent financing for KETTLER's real estate extensive portfolio. Ms. Furst's responsibilities include originating, negotiating, underwriting and documenting credit facilities to include secured and unsecured lines of credit, bridge facilities, construction and acquisition loans and to provide access to capital markets and utilize investment banking services.
Prior to joining KETTLER, Ms. Furst served as Vice President of Accounting and Finance, for Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty, a division of Vornado Realty Trust. Her responsibilities included soliciting, negotiating and documenting securitized balance sheet mortgage loans and loan administration for divisional loan portfolio, including lender communication and covenant compliance. She was in charge of divisional responsibilities including reporting, lease administration and budgeting, as well as supervision of divisional budget.
From 1988 to 2001, Ms. Furst served as a Principal with Bank of America. At Bank of America, Ms. Furst oversaw the Real Estate Structured Debt Group. She performed on-going portfolio management, including strategic planning, financial analysis and covenant compliance.
Ms. Furst received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from George Washington University, where she was on the Dean's List. Her philanthropic endeavors include volunteering for the Montgomery County Literacy Program and the Service Guild of Washington. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women as well as the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.
