Michael Blum is the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for KETTLER. As Chief Investment Officer at Kettler, Mr. Blum is responsible for overseeing the negotiation, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of land and existing multi-family projects, condominiums, retail, residential and commercial assets.

Mr. Blum also manages existing and future equity joint venture relationships and agreements, the RFP process for all investments, as well as new business opportunities.

Mr. Blum has approximately 20 years of experience in the real estate development and finance industry. Mr. Blum began his real estate career in the Real Estate Finance Group with Bank of America and Freddie Mac. He originally joined KETTLER in 1996 and eventually became Vice President of Multifamily Development. In that capacity Mr. Blum was actively involved with the acquisition and development of numerous multifamily and mixed-use projects as well as the placement of project debt and equity. Beginning In 2004 Mr. Blum spent three years at Monument Realty LLC and JPI before returning to KETTLER in 2007 as Chief Investment Officer.

Mr. Blum is a 1987 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College where he received a B.A. in Business Management. In 1992 he received an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore.
