Sean Curtin joined KETTLER in 2006 as General Counsel. He is responsible for preparing contracts, joint venture agreements, and financing documentation.

Prior to joining KETTLER, Mr. Curtin was an Associate Attorney in Real Estate Finance and Development at Tyson’s Corner-based law firm Hunton & Williams. During his nine-year tenure at Hunton & Williams, Mr. Curtin prepared real estate documents including LLC operating agreements and other joint partnership documentation, declarations for mixed-use projects, escrow agreements, security agreements, deeds of trust, and other financing documents. Before his employment with Hunton & Williams, Mr. Curtin worked at McLean law firm Adams, Porter & Radigan, Ltd., as an Associate and Member on the firm’s Real Estate and Business Practice Team. He represented various companies in their efforts to acquire and develop property. Mr. Curtin began his career at Los Angeles firm McKenna, Conner & Cuneo as an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Banking Section.

A Washington, D.C. native, Mr. Curtin earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia in 1984. He received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1987. He is a member of the California State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Virginia State Bar.
