KETTLER offers a unique and competitive benefits package to our team members as part of their overall compensation package. Our employee benefits include:

Education reimbursement: Kettler is committed to helping its employees develop and grow. This program provides the opportunity for employees to take the initiative to improve their job performance, prepare for future roles at KETTLER and accomplish general self-improvement.

Professional memberships: KETTLER assists team members in achieving and maintaining industry recognized or required professional designations, certifications, and memberships in professional organizations. KETTLER will pay the annual charges for professional licenses; memberships in professional organizations, and business related subscriptions as needed to maintain professional status and as approved by the team member's manager.

Vacation: KETTLER recognizes that our team members work hard and that vacation is a necessary component of rest and relaxation. KETTLER team members are rewarded with paid time off, and are encouraged to use their vacation each year. Team members begin accruing two weeks of vacation per year from the first full pay period they work. After their four-year anniversary, team members begin accruing three weeks of vacation per year.

Holiday leave: KETTLER recognizes 10 days during the year as paid holidays for its full-time team members and accommodates requests for unpaid time off for religious holidays. Paid holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Health, dental, vision and prescription coverage: KETTLER maintains a group health insurance plan currently providing medical, dental, vision and prescription drug service benefits for all full-time team members and their families. Team members become eligible to participate on the first day of the calendar month occurring after the first 30 days of service. KETTLER pays a portion of the cost of coverage, with the team member being responsible for the balance of such costs through payroll deduction. The Health Insurance Pre-Tax Plan permits team members who are participants in KETTLER group health plan to pay their share of premiums for coverage on a pretax basis through payroll deduction.

Life insurance: KETTLER provides group life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance to full-time team members at no cost to them. The team member is eligible to participate beginning on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. The life insurance benefit payment is equal to the team member's annual base salary, up to a maximum of $100,000 but not less than $50,000.

Sick leave: KETTLER provides sick leave of short duration to meet the team member's needs while suffering or recuperating from illnesses or injuries. Sick leave accrues at the rate of 40 hours per year. Up to three weeks (120 hours) sick time may be carried over from year to year.

Short-term and long-term disability insurance: KETTLER provides group short and long-term disability insurance at no cost to team members for all full time, non-temporary team members after 90 days of employment. The plan is designated to pay a monthly benefit to replace lost income in part during a period of total disability. Short-term disability is paid at a rate of 60% of a team member's salary and becomes available after two consecutive weeks of illness or injury during which a team member is unable to work and after the team member has used all accrued sick time. Long-term disability becomes available after the qualifying period of 90 days and is paid at a rate of 60% of a team member's salary.

Retirement savings plans: The Retirement Plan allows tax-deductible voluntary contributions by participating team members to their own 401(k) account. Quarterly enrollment is available to team members after their date of hire, provided that the team member is 20.5 years of age or older. Based on company profitability, KETTLER also contributes to each team member's Retirement Plan at no cost to the team member.

Training and education programs: KETTLER offers in-house training opportunities for all team members. Team members are also encouraged to explore opportunities for professional development outside of KETTLER. Team members may wish to attend seminars and conferences or take classes. KETTLER may reimburse them for all expenses if these classes have a benefit to KETTLER as determined and approved by the team member's manager. Team members become eligible for continuing education reimbursement following full-time employment of three months and proof of satisfactory completion of the class.

Flexible work environments and schedules: While KETTLER does not offer flex time, managers work with their team members to provide the most flexible arrangements that match the team member's scheduling needs, while providing excellent customer service during the set office hours.

Discounts on company logo items: In addition to periodic employee gifts, KETTLER is pleased to offer a discount through the KETTLER Store for items with the KETTLER logo. KETTLER also offers other occasional specials on KETTLER logo items, such as sweatshirts, travel mugs, etc.

Rental discounts at company properties: KETTLER is pleased to offer a rental discount program for team members that live in one of KETTLER's apartment communities based on space availability. Rental discounts range from 5% to 20%, depending on the team member's employment package.

Personal and family friendly policies: KETTLER recognizes that life happens and fully supports team members during life events. KETTLER fully supports and complies with the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA), which allows for team members to take up to a total of 12 weeks of unpaid leave during any 12-month period for family or medical reasons. KETTLER recognizes that situations may occur that temporarily prevent a team member from working and may provide a leave of absence on a case-by-case basis upon written request by a team member. KETTLER also assists team members suffering the loss of immediate family members by providing up to three days of leave with pay for bereavement. Finally, KETTLER fully supports its team members in fulfilling their civic responsibilities and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the time off needed to fulfill responsibilities such as military leave, jury duty, and voting.
