John Chappelear Joins KSI as Senior Vice President of Residential Condominium Division

KSI Services, Inc. (KSI), one of greater Washington, DC’s largest diversified real estate companies, announced today that John M. Chappelear has joined the company as the senior vice president of its residential condominium division.
In this role, Chappelear will serve on KSI’s senior management team and will lead the company’s strategic growth in the urban, luxury condominium sector in the greater Washington, DC, market. KSI expects to develop more than 10,000 condominium units in the next five years

Chappelear joins KSI from The Related Group of Florida, the state’s largest real estate development corporation specializing in upscale condominium and rental apartment projects. While working in Southern Florida, Chappelear supervised numerous condominium projects, including The Plaza, a 1000-unit single phase condominium development in Miami. Under Chappelear’s leadership, the development experienced the fastest “sell-out” in Florida’s history, selling 950 units in one week. His previous work experience also includes senior management positions with developers in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.
Chappelear earned a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, and has completed graduate studies at the American University in Washington, DC.
