Cynthia M. Clare Named President of AOBA of Metropolitan Washington

Cynthia M. Clare, President of KSI Management, Corp., has been named President of the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) of Metropolitan Washington. Her 1year term began on January 24, 2006.
AOBA is the leading membership organization representing commercial and multifamily residential real estate in the Washington Metro area. The current combined portfolio of AOBA’s membership represents more than 121 million square feet of office space and 185,000 residential apartments in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Clare joined KSI Management in March 2005. At KSI, she is responsible for the operations of more than 8,500 apartments currently under management, as well as overseeing the future operations of an additional 4,500 apartments KSI expects to bring on line in the next several years.
“Participating in AOBA allows our members to access a strong network of their peers across the region”, stated Clare. “In addition, our collective voice allows us to work to influence policy on utility costs, property taxes and other regulated fees that make living affordable for our tenants and residents. I am honored to be leading a group that works to provide a unique quality of life to those who choose to work and live in the Metropolitan Washington area.
