KSI Services, Inc. Makes Significant Book Donation to the Reston Historic Trust

The Board of Trustees for the Reston Historic Trust announced a significant donation of 100 Reston Town Center: a Downtown for the 21st Century books to the Reston Museum by KSI Services, Inc. of Vienna, VA. The book retails for $45.00 per copy, making this a $4,500 value donation. The books will be sold at the Reston Museum located on Lake Anne Plaza in Reston. All proceeds will benefit the Reston Museum, its programs and exhibits.
Reston Town Center: a Downtown for the 21st Century tells the story of Reston Town Center and its four decades of planning and design, featuring many notable contributors including: Alan Ward, Tom D’Alesandro, Charles Bohl, Robert Kettler, Philip Langdon, Ray Ritchey, Robert E. Simon, Robert Stern and Tom Vanderbilt. The book highlights the achievements of the visionaries and talented designers who placed Reston Town Center in the forefront of modern urban design. The book also features beautiful photography from the past and present.

The Reston Historic Trust (RHT), a community-based non-profit organization, was founded in 1996 to sustain the unique history of the award-winning, innovative, planned community of Reston. The RHT serves the dual role of preserving a sense of community and addressing change. Through displays and programs at the Reston Museum, the RHT is using the past to understand the present and plan for the future. Directions to Lake Anne Village Center: East of Reston Parkway, off Baron Cameron Avenue, turn right on Village Road. At the stop sign, turn left on North Shore, then make an immediate right into the Lake Anne Village Center parking area. Walk toward the lake to the Plaza. By bus, take RIBS bus #1 or #3 to Lake Anne Village Center.
