New Ultra Luxury High-Rise Apartments Offered in Reston Town Center
Only high-rise apartment community in Dulles Toll Road Corridor Apple Mac Book for each initial customer

KSI Services, Inc., one of greater Washington's largest commercial and residential developers, announced today the commencement of leasing and the grand opening of the information center at The Metropolitan at Reston Town Center. Soaring 21-stories above Reston, the Metropolitan will offer 288 apartments with over 30 different floor plans and more than 12,000 square feet of private resident amenity areas. The Metropolitan is the only new high-rise apartment building along the Dulles Toll Road corridor and the first ultra-luxury apartment community in western Fairfax County. Monthly rents will range from $1,300 to $3,700.
KSI Management Corp. (KSIM) will oversee operations of the building. "Trends show that the region continues to attract many of the best and the brightest people in the nation," said KSIM President, Cindy Clare. "These busy professionals demand the best in luxury living, privacy and convenience. The Metropolitan at Reston provides the most sophisticated lifestyle available in Northern Virginia."
The on-site staff of VIPdesk, the virtual concierge, can provide personal services such as pet walking, dining recommendations and reservation placement. As another time saving measure, residents have the option of making their rental payments using American Express.
The latest in technology is expected to make these homes even more attractive, and as an introductory promotion, all new leases come with an Apple MacBook. High-tech offerings include WiFi in all amenity spaces and Verizon's FiOS fiber optic technology in each apartment with connection speeds from up to 2 to 30 megabytes per second. Verizon FiOS TV, which delivers more than 200 all-digital TV channels, more than 20 high-definition TV channels, music and other advanced features, will also be available.
The Metropolitan at Reston Town Center is styled with classic modern architecture and a dramatic mix of masonry and glass. Many of the floor plans will have floor-to-ceiling windows providing spectacular views of sunsets over the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is an expansive collection of amenities in spaces envisioned by world-renowned designer, Forrest Perkins. Residents can take advantage of the sports club with cardio theatre and top tier equipment as well as an outdoor pool with sundeck and hot tub. Social areas also include a rooftop lounge with billiards room, cyber café and theater lounge.
Unique finishes available within the homes include designer kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. Other premium features include GE washers and dryers, Berber carpet by Shaw, contemporary lighting and floor to ceiling windows in many homes. Three floors will consist of 1,400-square-foot penthouses with additional upscale finishes including hardwood floors and fireplaces.
The Metropolitan of Reston Town Center offers short-term furnished rentals, known as Metropolitan Suites. These executive apartments are on one level, providing enhanced corporate services such as daily continental breakfast, newspaper delivery and maid service. Unlike most corporate suites, residents will be allowed to bring pets along on extended business travel.
Area merchants are planning to offer discounts as part of the package for the new residents. Lionel E. Holmes, General Manager of Morton's, The Steakhouse in Reston is looking forward to serving the residents of Metropolitan of Reston. KSI expects residents to begin occupancy by early December.
