Richard Knapp, Senior Vice President at Kettler, Honored by Property Management Association

Knapp Receives Alvin L. Sussman Award

Kettler, formerly KSI Services, Inc., announced that Richard Knapp, senior vice president, was the recipient of the prestigious Alvin L. Sussman award at the Property Management Association (PMA) Annual Award dinner held November 16.  The Sussman Award is the Association’s highest honor.  It is given to those who give selflessly of their time and expertise to advance the association and the profession.

In addition, he was recognized for his desire to engage in direct dialogue with many Kettler residents.  He understands that developing and managing properties requires a commitment to the community and to those residents.  “I am truly honored and humbled by this acknowledgement,” said Knapp. “I love this profession and have a passion for both development and people.  Kettler’s commitment to go beyond bricks and mortar to build communities is a philosophy I take to heart.”

At Kettler, Knapp’s responsibilities include acquisitions, and predevelopment planning, construction management, marketing and financing of the firm’s rental and condominium communities.
 
Knapp has received other industry awards including a ‘Pillars of the Industry’ awards from the National Association of Home Builders and a HUD Best Practices Award for renovation and conversion.
