West Village of Shirlington Enters Final Sales Phase

Success a result of complete reconstruction of community

June 2, 2006

KSI Services, Inc. announced the beginning of the third and final phase of sales at the West Village of Shirlington condominiums, adding another 178 condominium homes for sale.

The West Village of Shirlington is a unique conversion product. Gutted to the original brick walls and completely reconstructed, the community will bring a total of 528 new condominiums to Arlington. Already, the community is one of the most successful projects in Northern Virginia, with more than 300 units sold.

"Prospective residents are recognizing that West Village of Shirlington offers a remarkable new product with unbelievable finishes and amenities at conversion prices," said John Chappelear, senior vice president of condo operations for KSI. "The unique mix of high-quality finishes and reasonable prices have made it one of the fastest selling communities in Northern Virginia,"

The community is a part of an ongoing revitalization of the Shirlington area. It is located less than a mile from the Village of Shirlington, where a new Harris Teeter™ grocery, Signature Theater and county library are under construction.

Standard condominium features include Bruce® hardwood floors, GE® stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom built-in closets, in addition to more than 8,000 square feet of amenities, the largest swimming pool in Arlington County and virtual concierge service provided by VIPdesk™.

The West Village of Shirlington began selling and constructing the units in three phases. Phase I sales began in mid-2005 and delivery is expected early fall of 2006. Delivery for Phase III is expected early 2007.
