Kettler’s Midtown Alexandria Station Honored by Building Industry Peers with esteemed Monument Award

Four Additional Properties Receive Awards of Merit

Kettler, one of greater Washington, DC’s largest diversified real estate and property management companies, announced today that Midtown Alexandria Station was honored with a Monument Award at the 50th Annual Monument Awards Gala, hosted by the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and the Maryland-National Capital Building Association. Four additional Kettler communities received Awards of Merit.

The Monument Awards Gala held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on November 1, 2007, honor the achievements of the communities and homes that represent the best that the industry has to offer.

Kettler’s high-end condominium homes, Midtown Alexandria Station, took home top honors being recognized as the best New Condominiums under $375,000. Located adjacent to the Huntington metro and just minutes from Old Town, Alexandra, Midtown is a 368-unit high-rise residential tower which offers spacious condominiums and a host of sophisticated social amenities.

Awards of Merit were granted to the Metropolitan at Reston Town Center for best High Rise Rental Building over 10 Stories, the Metropolitan at Lorton Station for best Garden Style Rental Units, Midtown Largo Station for best New Condominiums under $375,000 and Port Potomac for best amenity package in a Non-Golf Resort Community.

The Monument Awards honor homebuilding companies in metropolitan Washington whose homes have been judged the “best of the best” for design, excellence and value by a panel of their peers.

Builders from across Virginia and Maryland were nominated for the Monument Awards, which categories included single-family homes, town homes, condominiums, site and land planning, high-tech innovation and high-end custom homes.
