Kettler’s Santos Honored with American Express Leadership Award
June 4, 2007
Kettler, one of the nation’s top multifamily developers and a Washington, D.C. area leader in diversified real estate development and property management, announced today that Cecille Santos, Sales and Marketing manager at Kettler, has won the American Express Leadership Spotlight Award for Leadership in Leasing Strategies.
The American Express Spotlight Award recognizes demonstrated strategic leadership in the multi-family homebuilding industry in the areas of leasing strategies, recruiting and retention, technology and customer service.
Santos was honored for her integral role in establishing numerous brand partnerships between Kettler and notable companies such as Apple, American Express, Tiffany & Co., VIP Desk, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, and Verizon. In many Kettler apartment communities, residents are given lease-up gifts, moving in gifts, and special privileges, such as access to Flex Car and VIP Desk concierge service.
Coupled with Santos’s commitment to customer service, this unique strategy successfully provided customers with highly valued service and amenities. She has brought the occupancy rate from 91% in 2001 to 96%, during her five year tenure.
Santos is responsible for sales and marketing of the entire portfolio of Kettler’s 40 apartment communities, as well managing each property management team.
