Midtown Reston Attracts High-End Luxury Partners
March 21, 2007
Kettler, formerly KSI Services, Inc., has introduced the creation of unique partnerships with high-end luxury companies, bringing an array of amenities and lifestyle services to the new residents of Midtown Reston. Among the companies are American Express, Tiffany & Co., VIPdesk, and Morton’s Steakhouse.
“Kettler has gone well beyond the traditional physical assets that homeowners expect when purchasing condominiums,” said John Chappelear, senior vice president of condo operations and homeowner services. “We have included a vast array of virtual amenities and services that enhance the lifestyle of Kettler residents.”
Kettler amenity partner, American Express, is encouraging purchasers to buy their condo and earning American Express Membership points redeemable towards rewards.
VIPdesk, an award-winning virtual concierge service, offers a premium resident amenity available 24/7/365 days a year. Kettler residents can request practically anything, ranging from vacation planning to dining reservations to finding a one of a kind gift. The Concierge is a robust time-saving resource, enabling residents to focus on other priorities while VIPdesk goes to work as their Personal Assistant.
Tiffany & Co., an international icon of style and sophistication, has teamed up with Kettler to present each new Midtown Reston resident with a housewarming gift. When a new homeowner enters their new home for the very first time, they are greeted with a famous blue box.
Morton’s Steakhouse has also recognized the value Midtown Reston brings, giving each new homeowner a gift certificate and dedicating a reservation line specifically to residents of Midtown Reston.
“We are catering to what Richard Florida calls the ‘creative class,’” adds Chappelear. “Mr. Florida has a measure for attracting and retaining that targeted group of purchasers. His first measure is called the ‘Coolness Index.’ It ranks places by the amenities and lifestyle it delivers. We are delivering the ‘Coolness Index.’”
Midtown Reston, comprised of twin tower condominiums, offers 293 homes, Midtown Reston East offers 145 homes and Midtown Reston West offers 148 homes. Of those, XX are penthouse condominiums. The community amenities include: a pool, sauna, theatre, sports club, and conference rooms. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen for residents to hold their own parties.
The Midtown Reston Condominiums are part of a larger project in Reston Town Center. Along with the East and West Towers, there is an apartment building with 288 homes and a loft building with 78 homes. The community park, built by Kettler, was dedicated and turned over to the community in October of 2005.
