Kettler Honored With Delta Associates/Transwestern Multifamily Award For Excellence At Ritz Carlton
The Gramercy at Metropolitan Park, designed by world –renown architect Robert A.M. Stern, captures the award for Best Mid-Atlantic High-Rise

Kettler, one of greater Washington DC’s largest real estate development and property management companies, received the prestigious Delta Associates Multifamily Award for Excellence at the Industry Awards Gala held last night in Washington, DC. Recognized as Best Mid-Atlantic High-Rise.
For the past 12 years Delta Associates has recognized outstanding multifamily projects in the Mid-Atlantic, with its Multifamily Awards for Excellence program. Awards are given for apartment and condominium projects in the Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. Candidates reviewed by the Delta Associates team are judged on a variety attributes including location, price, absorption pace, design, and marketing. Awards are given for unique approaches to development such as adaptive reuse, design innovation, community impact, and overall excellence for their product type.

Construction on The Gramercy began in 2005 and was completed in late 2007. Robert A.M. Stern designed the master plan and interiors and DC-based WDG was the Architect of Record. Originally built on a ground lease, Kettler purchased the land from Vornado in 2007 and later capitalized the project in partnership with ING purchasing a 90% share and Kettler retaining 10%. The Gramercy at Metropolitan Park is the first of an 8-phase development that will ultimately offer 3,200 multifamily units in the heart of Pentagon City, VA.
