Alexan Carlyle Announces ‘12 Days of Savings’ and Food Drive Promotions

Prospective residents of the Alexan Carlyle apartment community in Alexandria can now take advantage of a “12 Days of Savings” promotion that offers a special price for a different apartment unit each day through Dec. 23.
Savings range from $241 per month for a studio “Carlyle” unit ($1,149) to $376 per month for one of Alexan Carlyle’s two-bedroom, two-bathroom “Franklin” units ($1,849). Contact the leasing center for details and to learn which unit is available each day, beginning Saturday, Dec. 12 and ending Wednesday, Dec. 23.
To arrange a tour, visit the Leasing Office, 800 John Carlyle Street, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
Alexan Carlyle also announced that to supplement its resident food collection drive, it will donate one can of food to an area charity for every new “friend” added to their Facebook page by January 1, 2010. Canned goods will be donated to the Arlington Food Assistance Center, a non-profit dedicated to providing supplemental groceries to Arlington residents who cannot afford to purchase sufficient food to meet their basic needs. By relieving the food budget of AFAC’s clients, the organization helps prevent homelessness and allows clients to make other necessary purchases without sacrificing health, housing and nutritional needs.
