Asheel Shah joined Kettler in 2007 and is President of the Multifamily division of the company overseeing acquisitions, asset management, development, construction and capital raising. Mr. Shah has over 20 years of experience in the Washington DC real estate market and 14 years of experience dedicated to real estate investments and development. He is primarily responsible for the company’s investment strategy, capital strategy, new business development activities as well as building and maintaining partner relationships. Mr. Shah chairs the Kettler Investment Committee and is principally responsible for making recommendations to the committee.
Mr. Shah earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA., and a master’s of business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Kettler, Mr. Shah worked at Monument Realty, CarrAmerica Realty Corp. and Arthur Andersen LLP. He is involved with the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the Washington District Executive Committee and as a mentor for young leaders.
Leslie Furst joined Kettler in 2003 and is Senior Vice President of Finance for the company. Ms. Furst is responsible for overseeing asset management, all financing activities and lender relationships and is actively involved in equity placement and investor relations.
